Once a while you go to a food joint and find a hidden treasure kinda dish, that's what the North coast banana toast was here. It was absolutely fantastic and a fresh dish. Coffees were great and staff were super friendly. Some good cakes as well. Definitely recommend it.

First time trying banana bread for breakfast, the combination of greek yogurt fresh mint and the compote was tantalising to the pallet and a refreshing change to your run of the mill breakfasts.

Back at Awaken again for lunch today. This place is so good. There is always a buzz in this cool, funky wee eatery, and anytime I have been in, there are always people waiting for a table to become available. The food is amazing. I had pancakes with bacon, maple syrup, natural yoghurt and blueberries. Hearty, comforting, flavour- full and mighty fine. Staff were efficient and friendly, up for a chat and quick to bring the food to the table. Well worth a visit if youre in the Port

Summer pancakes were absolutely delicious with the greek yogurt and berries jam. My husband ordered the chicken coronation sourdough open sandwich and it was really tasty as well. Coffee was excellent with both normal milk for my husband and oat milk for myself. Highly recommended spot, could be very busy during peak hours!
